The Rodin & Wilde shirt is part of our Modern Art Collection, combining the visual and literary arts to inspire and uplift. Insights can be drawn from the connection between the paired image and thought.

Auguste Rodin (1840-1917), French Sculptor, known for sculptures such as The Thinker and The Kiss, created in the naturalist style, capturing character and emotion. In addition to sculpting, he produced drawings, watercolors, and works in other mediums that all similarly depict natural and expressive forms. This "Figure Facing Forward" piece is made with graphite and watercolor and captures movement and freedom in a palpable way.

Oscar Wilde (1854-1900), Irish Poet and Playwright, published The Picture of Dorian Gray in 1890. Imprisoned for his sexual orientation, he was posthumously pardoned through the Alan Turing Act. Shared in a compilation of his letters, he expressed that he "stood in symbolic relation to the art and culture of my age". His story shows us the importance of uplifting each other's humanity and dignity in real-time and not just in retrospect.
